1970 McLaren Formula 1 Conversion Kit
Silver City Models is now offering a resin conversion kit for the old Heller McLaren M7C kit. You will need one of the Heller kits as a donor. Simply replace the kit supplied parts with our new resin parts. Our new kit replaces the inadequate parts supplied with the Heller kit. This will transform the M7C into the 1970 McLaren M14A as driven by Dan Gurney in his last races as a Formula 1 driver. The kit includes new taller roll bar with supports, new rear wing and end plates, new taller windshield, new front and rear shocks, water pipes with elbows, McLaren M16 type rims, 3D printed accurate tires, Complete CD instructions with photos, and a decal sheet made by Indycals. This decal sheet will represent the #17 McLaren that Dan drove in the 1970 French Grand Prix, his last race as a driver.
